The Rag Factory presents

Miss Hood Exhibition
“Why Grandma, what huge teeth you have!”

10th – 13th October 10am – 8pm
Private View Friday 9th October 6pm - late

The classic fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood has been given a new lease of life in the Rag Factory’s upcoming exhibition ‘Miss Hood’.  Five recent graduates from Middlesex University present the viewer with their own interpretation of the timeless Brothers Grimm story.  Little Red Riding Hood travels through the wood once again to grandmas house, but this time the story has been taken out of the book and unravels across the gallery walls through paintings, print, photography, relief and digital art.

Joanna Wilson, Annie Dalton, Jonathan Lam, Dina Constantinou and Jenny Evans all graduated last year and have chosen their love of traditional folk tales as the theme for their first collaborative exhibition.  With each artist having a different part of the story to tell, each chapter has been portrayed using the artist’s own unique style. The continuous flow of the story telling brings the variety of different works together in a one of a kind exhibition that has something to delight everyone.

The exhibition will open with a private view on Friday 9th October where all the artists will be around to talk about their work and answer any questions.
